If you run boinccmd in the same directory as the BOINC client, you don't need. The usage of boinccmd is: boinccmd -host hostname -passwd passwd command. This is an alternative to the BOINC Manager, e.g. 10:21:59 AM | | Error reported by file upload server: Server is out of disk space The program boinccmd provides a command-line interface to a running BOINC client, local or remote. Its still present on the Task list and on the Transfer list (waiting for a Retry). After that, on the projects tab click on and then click the "Update" button. To get something useful from the log then open Boinc Manager and in the "Options" menu select "Event log options", then select "http_debug" and click OK. ![]() 9:19:52 PM | | Scheduler request failed: Error 408 9:19:39 PM | | Requesting new tasks for NVIDIA GPU The version listed under 'Help / About BOINC Manager' is Version: 7.16. 9:19:39 PM | | Sending scheduler request: Requested by user. I can't upload and have several tasks almost due. HI, I'm running several projects but this one is the only one that keeps failing. Just seems strange that after making WUProp work with HTTPS (which it is now asking me to go back to HTTP), that Einstein and WCG both decided that they can't talk to project servers. I am running BOINC 6.12.43 and I can't see anywhere to enable http_debug option, or do I add this to a cc-config.xml file? Although I have been running BOINC for years I haven't got into any debugging things much. Both WCG and Einstein use those to ensure compatibility with older windows installations and we are sure it works for version 7.x of BOINC but I haven't tested 6.12 this version might be built with a version of curl that does not understand alternative certificate chains. WUProp is using a SHA-256 signed certificate too but they probably don't use alternative certificate chains. ![]() Can you elaborate on how you installed the latest CA bundle and from where you downloaded it? The best way is to download it from github, copy it to the BOINC data directory and restart the client. You should enable the http_debug option to check why the certificate can not be verified.
